Muskegon Winter Sports Complex 2007-08 Season Comes to An End
After a picture perfect winter for those of us in the winter sports industry, our facilities will close for the season today Monday March 10, 2008 at sunset. Considering we opened the ski trails in December, this has been the best winter in terms of snowfall and long periods of cold temperatures since the facility opened in 1984.  We are finalizing end of season totals in terms of visitors and ticket sales but early figures show record attendance in all three venues of luge, x-c skiing, and ice skating. (according to feedback a great time had by all).

  
As we begin to start cleaning up and packing away the park, we are already working on improvement and expansion ideas for next season.  We remain committed to furthering our progress in providing year round recreational facilities by spring of 2009.  Stay tuned for further updates and press releases.  On behalf of the Muskegon Sports Council…..many thanks to all of you who have contributed to the monumental task in making this one of the best seasons ever.
